This comprehensive, beginners workshop will explore the elements of novel-writing that will help you get started, and inspire you to finish. We'll discuss not just specifics like plot, character, voice and structure, but also suggest tried-and-true techniques to integrate writing into your personal life, identify pit-falls that novelists avoid, and offer real-world tools and tips that writers employ to finish their novels. At the end of the workshop, participants will have a "map" of their writing world, with the beginnings of their future novels. This class is geared towards beginning writers - these who have always wanted to write a novel but, for a variety of reasons, have found themselves unable to do so.
