So many gifted writers want to write a novel but are unsure of how to do so. So many take the first few steps, write some wonderful chapters, and then get confused or overwhelmed. There are so many potential novelists who have given up because of lack of direction or resources.

It does not have to be like that. If you want to write a novel, I can help. This comprehensive, beginners workshop will explore the elements of novel-writing that will help you get started, and inspire you to finish. We'll discuss not just specifics like plot, character, voice and structure, but also suggest tried-and-true techniques to integrate writing into your personal life, identify pit-falls that novelists avoid, and offer real-world tools and tips that writers employ to finish their novels. At the end of the workshop, participants will have a "map" of their writing world, with the beginnings of their future novels.

This class is geared towards beginning writers - these who have always wanted to write a novel but, for a variety of reasons, have found themselves unable to do so.
